Meet the baker!

Alongside Fancy That Cake, I created Fancy That Cookie as a space for all things custom cookies—separate from weddings, and focused instead on celebrations, events, and corporate work. It’s where I design hand-piped and printed cookies for moments outside the wedding world.

Based in Fergus, I’ve spent the past 15 years designing elegant wedding cakes and handcrafting lifelike sugar flowers as the heart behind Fancy That Cake—creating timeless, detail-driven pieces for weddings across the region.

My ideal workday? Sugar, butter, and flour in hand, a true crime podcast playing in the background, and a Coke Zero in my favourite Starbucks tumbler.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll likely find me crocheting on the couch or exploring Disney Dreamlight Valley on my PS4. I’ve been married for 31 years and have three grown-up kids who keep life fun, full, and always a little loud.

Fancy That Cookie focuses on custom cookie orders made for life’s meaningful moments, with occasional small-batch or seasonal offerings appearing throughout the year.
